Maybe you've seen us around...here's what we're up to these days:
1. Patio Trex Deck
Our client asked us to come up with a Trex deck to view the sunset from. It needed to fit within the constraints of the small patio so that he could view the sunset without imposing on his neighbors. Our elongated step design allows for easy access and increases the usable area by adding seating options. The existing flagstone patio was modified and several pieces were added to tie the patio to the new deck. A drip system will be installed in the spring to create a low maintenance planting area that is water conserving.

2. New Construction With Walled Garden
The homeowner wants privacy and the ability to enjoy the mountain views from the patio. Water must be detained on site during heavy rain episodes. The challenge is to create a detainment area which will allow some of this water to be re-used for irrigation. Native plants will be blended into the design to tie together the garden to the adjacent natural area.

3. A Larger Landscape in Abiquiu
This is an adobe structure that is off the grid. Solar panels provide power. Water is collected from the roof and stored on site. We have installed a gray-water system to provide a water source for the garden; native plants are intermixed with drought tolerant varieties for efficiency and beauty. A garden wall will be built to keep out the rabbits and protect the plants from evaporation due to wind.
